We will hold auditions for the Delmae Chorus during the first couple
of weeks of school. All third and
fourth grade students are eligible to audition. The following events are scheduled for the
2008-2009 school year: Donuts for Dads in November Christmas Musical in December Muffins for Moms in February Music In Our Schools Month at Magnolia Mall in March Spring Concert in April |

Students at Delmae will have opportunities this school year to experience
music in many different ways. We will
practice beat and rhythm using a variety of instruments, read and notate
music, sing expressively, compose rhythm patterns, and study different kinds
of music around the world. Different
grade levels will participate in special units that may require special
materials. I will inform parents when
supplies are needed for music class. GOOD NEWS Mrs. Oswalt will have a classroom for the 2008-2009 school year.
