******Note: plan on a big test the day we get out for Thanksgiving on

Monday:  Indicator 7-3.4 solve two step equations/inequalities 

               Students will work on section 8-3 and 8-6 in text in learning how

               Homework:  (note HW is the homework that did not get assigned

             Last week) p.447  (6-11) and p.452 (10-15)

Tuesday:  Indicator 7-3.4 solve two step equations/inequalities

             Check and go over Homework/watch streamline video

             On smart board about equations/inequalities

             Homework:  read in AR book

Wednesday:  Indicator 7-3.4

                 Students will review and then learn how to graph the solutions to

                Homework:  p.452 (36-39)  solve and graph the solutions

Thursday:  Indicator 7-3.4

                  Check and go over Homework

               More practice with Orchard on Smartboard

                Read for SSR (bring AR book to class)

              Homework:  study all notes for test next Tuesday

             Students will play “matho” as a review of all standards and

               Students will do classwork that will count as a quiz grade

                Students will also work on extra credit handout

Wednesday:  Indicator 7-3.4 solve two step equations/inequalities

                   Teacher will review with a power point on the smart board

                    And then relate solving two step equations to inequalities

            Go over homework and go over the last test on one step equations.

            Then students will take quiz on two step equations.

********Bell Work is work given on basic skills/skills taught in class****************

Class Procedures:  Every day students are expected to come to class and begin working

on bell work.  If homework was assigned, teacher will walk around the room while students complete the bell work.  After teacher checks the roll and goes over homework/other work, the teacher will teach the standard for that day.

 

Expectations:  Teacher will treat students with respect, provide orderly classroom environment, provide necessary discipline, provide appropriate motivation, and teach

required content.  Teacher expects students to treat her with respect, attend class regularly,

be cooperative and not disruptive, study and do the work, and learn and master the required content. 

 

Rules:  1) Bring to class:  3 ring binder with paper and dividers (one subject notebook), pencils, agenda, and RR books.  2)  Begin bell work upon entering class.  3)  Be respectful to teachers, classmates, staff, and all property.  4)  Follow directions with a spirit of cooperation. 

 

                      Please look over your notes EVERY day.
