Weekly Objectives: The student will be able to

 

*  Students will observe and practice proper lab safety techniques

*  Outline the basic steps of the Scientific Method

*  Distinguish between DNA and RNA

*  Identify the major parts of the DNA molecule

*  Explain the various experiments that helped identify DNA as the “Master Molecule”

*  Interpret various cellular diagrams / photos of DNA

*  Students will describe the processes of Replication-Transcription-Translation
