Directions to Delmae Heights Elementary

FROM COLUMBIA or AUGUSTA

1. Take I-20 East and continue until it ends.  At this point bear to the right onto I-20 Spur/ David McLeod Blvd. (Caution: The speed limit along this spur drops and is monitored.) 

2. Continue on David McLeod Blvd to the 4th traffic light which is Bentree Lane.  (Newsome Automotive will be to your left and the McLeod Health and Fitness Center will be on your right.)  Turn right at this intersection.

3.  Go to the next traffic light.  This is Palmetto Street and there will be a CITGO gas station on your right. Turn right.

4.  Go to the next traffic light. This is Parker Dr. and there will be a Bi-Lo grocery store on your left.  Turn left onto Parker Dr.

5.  Proceed about ½ mile on Parker Dr.until you see the school on the right. Visitor parking is available in the circle in front of the school between 8:00 and 1:30.  At other times visitors are welcome to park in any white space located in the parking lot on the side of the building.

 

FROM SPARTANBURG

1. Take I-26 South to Columbia.

2. Exit at 107B to take I-20 East and continue until it ends.  At this point bear to the right onto I-20 Spur/ David McLeod Blvd. (Caution: The speed limit along this spur drops and is monitored.) 

3. Continue on David McLeod Blvd to the 4th traffic light which is Bentree Lane.  (Newsome Automotive will be to your left and the McLeod Health and Fitness Center will be on your right.)  Turn right at this intersection.

4.  Go to the next traffic light.  This is Palmetto Street and there will be a CITGO gas station on your right. Turn right.

5.  Go to the next traffic light. This is Parker Dr. and there will be a Bi-Lo grocery store on your left.  Turn left onto Parker Dr.

FROM GREENVILLE

1. Take I-385 South until it merges with I-26 East.

2. Take I-26 East to Columbia.

3. Take Exit 107B onto I-20 East and continue until it ends.  At this point bear to the right onto I-20 Spur/ David McLeod Blvd. (Caution: The speed limit along this spur drops and is monitored.) 

4. Continue on David McLeod Blvd to the 4th traffic light which is Bentree Lane.  (Newsome Automotive will be to your left and the McLeod Health and Fitness Center will be on your right.)  Turn right at this intersection.

5.  Go to the next traffic light.  This is Palmetto Street and there will be a CITGO gas station on your right. Turn right.

FROM CHARLESTON

1. Take I-26 West to I-95 North.

2.  Take I-95 North to Exit 157 which is U.S. 76/Palmetto St.  Bear to the right and continue on W. Palmetto St until you come to the first traffic light.

3.  Bear to the right onto Cashua Dr.  Continue straight on Cashua Dr.  You will pass the following:

  • cemetery on the right
  • traffic light ( Shell station on the right)
  • Exxon station/McDonald’s on the left
  • CreekRatz Restaurant on the left

Shortly after passing the restaurant, there will be a grove of pine trees on the left and Delmae will be just past these on the left. 

4. Visitor parking is available in the circle in front of the school between 8:00 and 1:30.  At other times visitors are welcome to park in any white space in the parking lot.
