GRADING
POLICY
MID QUARTER:
Grades will be figured by the sum of points earned divided by the sum of
points possible at the cut off date for the reporting period established by
the administration.
(Points earned from: Vocabulary Tests, Lesson Tests, Class work/
Homework Checks, Folder Checks, Oral participation, Computer Lab checks,
Cultural Projects, and Extra Credit
Assignments)
QUARTER:
80 % Average of points earned during the quarter.
(Sum of total points earned divided by the total points possible during the
entire quarter)
20% Semester Exam
FINAL:
50% 1st or 3rd Quarter grade
50% 2nd or 4th Quarter
grade
*** Please remember that each student determines his grade
by his efforts and performance. The teacher
does not pass or fail anyone. I
present the content required in varied ways in addition to the textbook,
workbook, video and audio tapes to give each student the opportunity to learn
and complete the course successfully.
