Our Classroom

door to my roomIn Mrs. Nettles’ class small groups of students learn specific standards and skills as outlined in each student’s Individualized Educational Program (IEP.)  The students in our class are in kindergarten, first, or second grade.  Our class period lasts 25 to 50 minutes.  Mrs. Nettles either goes into the classrooms to work with small groups of students, or the small groups come to our classroom for instruction.  The rest of the day they receive instruction with their homeroom class.  We learn using direct instruction, cooperative groups, interactive computer programs, and sometimes games.  Our classroom is located mobile unit 4.  This is our classroom!
