My Philosophy of Teaching:
"I believe all children deserve a safe, nurturing environment that facilitates learning.  It is my job, as a teacher, to provide such an environment, encouraging students to seek knowledge and become lifelong learners in the progressively technological world around them." 

Education:  
1996 Graduate of Francis Marion University with 
        a Bachelors of Science degree in Early
        Childhood Education
2006 graduate of Lesley University with a Masters
         of Education in Curriculum and Instruction
         with a Specialty in Creative Arts.

Personal Information:
I was born in Darlington, SC and attended Darlington County Public schools.  I currently live in Darlington with my dog, Chyna.  I am an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan!  When I'm not at school, I enjoy boating, football games, jewelry making, scrapbooking and traveling.
