offers discussion concerning (NUMERACY) 2. Begin the drama p. 301-309;
complete study guide and character matrix as we read. 1st block 1. Continue reading Macbeth
with Act I, Scene 6-7, p. 314-318. Answer selected questions, p. 318. Recognize blank verse and iambic pentameter
(NUMERACY). 2. Scan one speech in Act I and
find variations in meter. Compare
Shakespeare’s use of prose in selected passages; compare the dialogue to the
inner thoughts. 3. Complete an activity with
fortunes. Each student draws a “good
fortune,” reads it to the class and then writes what steps he would have to
take to ensure these prosperous futures. 3. Continue reading Macbeth Act II, Scenes 1, 2, and 3 and

poetic phrase using their combined quotes.
3. Complete Act II; read Macbeth’s Porter and answer selected questions on p. 333. 4. Complete character matrix and study questions. |
