Course Description

The purpose of a resource class is to help students with their class work in order to help them become successful students.  This is achieved by working on the following areas; strengthening a student’s area of weakness, providing regular class support, and providing transition services to students.

Grading Policy

Students in the resource class work on various academic assignments for their core classes, as well as IEP objective work.  The grading criterion for this class is different than other classes.  Students receive a grade each week based upon the following categories that make up good work and study habits; preparation, organization, and on-task.  A total of 20 points can be earned daily, with 100 being the maximum weekly amount.
