Course
Description The purpose of a resource
class is to help students with their class work in order to help them become
successful students. This is achieved
by working on the following areas; strengthening a student’s area of
weakness, providing regular class support, and providing transition services
to students. |

Grading
Policy Students in the resource
class work on various academic assignments for their core classes, as well as
IEP objective work. The grading
criterion for this class is different than other classes. Students receive a grade each week based
upon the following categories that make up good work and study habits;
preparation, organization, and on-task.
A total of 20 points can be earned daily, with 100 being the maximum
weekly amount. |
