A primary concern in all science courses is
lab safety. All science students in
Florence School District One are required to read and sign a lab safety
contract. Students are also required
to pass a lab safety test with a minimum score of 80. This document details district guidelines
for lab safety and behavior. Each

**The following equipment will be used during this class.
It is very important for each student to
be able to identify each piece of equipment and be knowledgeable of its uses and
associated hazards.

Balance purpose:
to measure the mass of samples |

to clean lab materials after use; slender size makes it well suited to clean
