Needs:

Chemistry I CP

      For this class, each student needs a notebook for general note-taking, a simple folder or small notebook for journal writing, and a pen or pencil.  A three ring binder type of notebook is recommended, but spiral type is fine.  A calculator is also recommended, but is not absolutely necessary.  I have a small number of calculators available.

Grading Policy:

       Grades for my classes are determined on a points system.  The types of assignments and point values that will be graded are:

§         Tests - 100 points

§         Lab reports – 50-100 points

§         Quizzes – 50 points

§         Daily activities – 10-50 points

§         Journal – 100 points

§         Homework – 100 points

 

Grade =  Earned Points   X  100

                  Possible Points

 

 

 

Class Rules:

      The rules for my classes are very simple.

u    Treat others with respect.

u    Bring all materials everyday.

u    Stay seated unless given permission.

u    Wait to be recognized to speak during class discussions.

u    Follow all laboratory rules while in the lab.

u    Follow all district guidelines.
