Driver Education Program at Wilson High J. E. Graham, Teacher Lesson Plans for Driver Education Driver Education is designed for non 1^st year 9^th grade students who are eligible, physically fit and of legal driving age. The semester course consists of a minimum of 30 classroom hours of instruction, three of behind-the-wheel driving, and simulation practice. A Beginner’s Permit is a prerequisite for Driver Education.
