WELCOME TO 7^th GRADE HEALTH

þ Every student has been issued a health book. Please make sure they take good care of it. There is a new barcode on the back of each health book. If that bar code is removed or damaged, the student/parent will be charged the cost of the book according to state department guidelines. The cost of the health book is $23.00. Students/parents are also responsible for any damages that occur or for a lost textbook.

þ Parents/students: If you are interested in access to the online Health book, you will need to email me and let me know so that I can get you a user name and password. There are also self help quizzes you can take for each chapter. J

þ Make sure your child is keeping up with his/her assignments.

þ If you have a question at night, it is best to call me at home (667-3326) unless you can wait until the next morning for an answer. My email address is for school. J

Lesson Plans are subject to change. 2^nd 9 weeks Chapter 5 We are currently working on Chapter 5 – Nutrition. The students will have a test on Thursday, the 19^th. We will then work on the Chapter 5 Project- “You Are What You Eat” which will take us through Thanksgiving. Homework Check agenda/notebook for homework. Most homework is to complete any class work and to study for quizzes/tests.
