Procedures:  Students will be given the following prompt:  Name your best friend from first grade through Junior High ( Middle School) and innumerate the characteristics or personal qualities that made that person important to you.

Assessment:  Students will be graded using the teacher made rubric.  The composition must have a minimum of one paragraph.  The paragraph must have an opening or introduction to the assigned topic giving the student’s side of the argument.  The paragraph must give at least three reasons for the argument. The paragraph must offer a closing, restating the student’s position.
