Grading is based on a points system.

Tests	90 -150 points per test
Quizzes	15 - 50 points per quiz
Homework	5-10 points per assignment
Group work	5 - 50 points per assignment
Projects	50 – 100 points per assignment

Your grade =

SEMESTER GRADE FOR ALGEBRA I

The score from the grade information table will comprise 90% of the quarter grades and the exam will comprise 10% of the semester grade. The End of Course Test for Algebra I will comprise 20% of the year grade.

Calculator:

A TI-84 Plus or TI-Nspire is recommended for their high school math career.

It is not required for Algebra I, but each student will be required to buy one by Algebra II.
