Behavior infractions will not
be tolerated. Valuable time will not be wasted arguing about the behavior. School is a place for learning and each child
has the right to learn without interference from others. We will strictly adhere to the Sneed and FSD1
behavior policy.

Materials
The following materials are
needed each day for class:
1. ID – worn properly
2. Agenda
3. Marble Composition Book
4. Paper and Pencil (All work turned in to teacher
must be in pencil)
5. AR/RR Book
6. Willing Attitude
Discipline Policy
The school district
discipline policy is printed in the student agenda. If students fail to follow the class/school
rules and procedures, the district discipline procedures will be followed.
Grading Policy
Test and Special Projects
will count three times. Quizzes, Pop
Quizzes and Notebook (MCB) Checks will count twice. Class work and group work/projects will count
once. Compass Computer work will count
twice. The students will record their grades in their agendas. It is their responsibility to keep track of
their grades. Due to limited paper and
ink supply, teachers are not able to print grade reports.
Grading Scale:
93-100 A 85-92B 77-84C 70-76D 0-69F
Homework Policy
Each night the students
should READ their AR/RR books for 15 minutes and STUDY their notes for 15
minutes. Any assignments not completed
in class become homework. These assignments
should be turned in at the beginning of the next class meeting.
Late Assignments:
Students should make every
effort to complete and turn in assignments when due to avoid falling
behind. To receive full credit, all
assignments are due on the due date.
Late assignments will have points deducted.
Late homework will receive
75% on 2nd day, 50% on 3rd day, and no credit after the 3rd
day.
Make Up Work:
The student must make
arrangements to find out if they missed any work during an absence so that they
will be fully prepared upon returning to school. Ways to do this are accessing the teacher’s
web page and checking lesson plans for assignments, e-mailing or talking to the
teacher in person, or contacting a classmate.
Assignments made or due prior to the absence will be due as originally
scheduled.
Class Dismissal
The bell that rings near the
end of the period means NOTHING to the students. It is a signal for the teacher. That bell does not dismiss the students. The teacher dismisses the students.
DRESS FOR SUCCESS
The rules for Dress for Success
are as follows:
1. Every Wednesday we will Dress for Success
2. We will read aloud on Wednesday while we are
Dressed for Success. Each student that
reads aloud will receive one extra credit
point. Have something ready to read.
3. Students who Dress for Success will receive
one extra credit point and a squire Buck. They are able to trade the bucks in
at the Squire store on Friday.
This is only an
option, it is not required. All extra credit
points will be added to the students’ lowest test score at the end of the
