Curriculum Information
Dewey L. Carter's teachers follow the South Carolina State Curriculum Standards for grades 4K-6th grade. The teachers focus their lesson plans around the skills the state has identified as developmentally appropriate for our students for each grade level. These are the same standards and skills that are tested on the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test in grades 3-6. To view the SC State Standards, click on the link below.
Important Dates to Remember
PACT testing will begin on Monday, May 7, 2007. You will receive information on testing before it starts. You may get more information on PACT from the State Department and the Florence School District 1 websites.
